Children of Africa
The VIVA CUBA show starts in the 15th century, just after the discovery of Cuba by Christopher Columbus, when the Spanish colonial rulers deported thousands of African slaves to Cuba and they were only allowed to keep their Yoruba religion and culture. Impressive dances in hair-raising acrobatic perfection staged into an original Afro-Pop-Cross-Over, make a creative progression of western and traditional choreographies merged with afro and modern dance.
