The show is lavish with the superlatives: 8,000 sq.m. of fabrics – enough to cover an entire football pitch – and more than 200 km of yarn were used for the colourful costumes and impressive, hand-painted stage scenery. More than 70 costumiers, carpenters and scene painters worked for several months to produce the fabulous costumes and show backdrop.100 of the very best 500 costume designs from Maestro Arochard, probably the country’s greatest costume designer, were selected as the basis for the production involving almost 500 show costumes.
